Requirements for joining: To open an account, you must reside, work or attend school in Cumberland County, Maine (or an immediate relative who already has an account with us). You must be 18 years of age (select accounts available for under 18 with parental signature). When you open an account with us you become a "member" and owner of the credit union. Our members own all of Evergreen CU, and for this reason we try to keep deposit rates as high as possible, and our costs and loan rates as low as possible. Any person who does any banking with us either on the deposit or loan side must at least have one share/savings account with no less than $25 on deposit. (Only 1 response received)
